How to reach us

Trentino is easily accessible with all means of transport, thanks to its strategic position on the Modena-Brenner motorway, which enables visitors to reach all main Italian cities.

By plane

Trento hosts a small airport, accessible only for small private airplanes.
The closest airports are in Bozen and in Verona. Farther there are the airports of Venice, Bergamo and Milan.
The airport of Bozen, “Dolomiti Francesco Baracca" (BZO)”, is about 50 km away from Trento and 6 km from Bolzano. Frequent flights connect Bozen with Rome and other Italian cities.
The airport of Verona, “Villafranca Valerio Catullo" (VRN) (+39 0458 095 666)", is about 90 km away from Trento and it is the busiest and most comfortable airport to reach Trento from different parts of Italy and Europe. The major Italian and European cities offer flights to Verona.

By car

The A22 Brenner motorway crosses Trentino from north to south. The A22 is one of the main Italian motorways, connecting Trento with the largest cities of the Padana Plain (from Modena, going through Mantua, Verona and Rovereto) and further north till Brixen and Innsbruck and abroad (Germany and Austria).

By train

Trentino is located on the Brenner railways, one of the busiest ways in Europe. Trento is at the crossing point among cities such as Verona and Innsbruck (in Austria), going through Bozen, Vipiteno and the Val d’Isarco, the Valle dell’Adige thus reaching the most important ski-resorts in the Dolomites and the Eastern Alps.
